A central building combining the city hall (magistrate) and municipal police functions in Pardubice, featuring an expressive faceted facade design with angular geometric forms.
The project proposes a new civic complex in Pardubice that houses both the municipal government offices and the city police headquarters. The design features two interconnected volumes with a striking angular, faceted facade composed of triangulated panels that create a dynamic, crystalline appearance. The building incorporates a parking structure with a distinctive perforated red/copper-toned cladding. The massing strategy creates distinct but connected volumes that address the urban context while providing a landmark civic presence. The project includes multiple floor plans showing the functional organization of administrative spaces, police facilities, and public areas.
The project includes multiple floor plans at various levels, cross-sections, and site plans showing the building's relationship to surrounding streets and infrastructure. The functional diagram indicates separate zones for the magistrate offices, police functions, administrative areas, and public/commercial spaces. The sections reveal a multi-story structure with varying heights between the connected volumes.
