Project idea

The goal was to design a multifunctional building complex in the center of the town of Veltrusy, providing civic amenities including offices, a pub, and community spaces for the town's residents.

Project description

The project is located in the center of Veltrusy near Prague. The design comprises a complex of buildings organized around a courtyard, connecting to the surrounding nature and forest. The complex includes three buildings: Building 1 contains offices and a workshop, with reception, technical room, WC, and administrative facilities on the ground floor, and offices on the upper floor. Building 2 is a children's playhouse with offices, a kitchen, WC, changing rooms, and a large multifunctional hall. Building 3 is a pub with a taproom, bar, sauna, WC, and bar facilities on the ground floor, with parking for 15 cars and technical installations in the basement. The buildings feature a symmetrical ground floor layout with a courtyard, creating connections between interior and exterior spaces, with passages between the surrounding area and the courtyard.

Technical information

Documentation includes 1st floor plan (1.NP) and 2nd floor plan (2.NP), eastern section view A, section B, western elevation, and western view. The complex includes parking areas in front of the buildings and basement-level parking with 15 spaces and technical facilities.
