A modern mixed-use building complex integrating commercial, laboratory, and administrative functions within an urban context, featuring a distinctive brick facade and green roof.
The Pentaxis project is a multifunctional building situated in an urban area near a waterfront. The design incorporates a striking brick and perforated facade system with large arched openings at the ground level, creating a strong architectural identity. The building features a green roof that integrates with the surrounding landscape. The program includes commercial spaces such as cafes, laboratories, and administrative offices distributed across multiple floors. The building responds to its industrial context, evident from the nearby chimney stack, while creating new public and green spaces around it.
The building spans multiple stories (documented floor plans show 1NP, 3NP, and 6NP levels). The structural scheme employs a regular grid system. Parking is accommodated within the building. The documentation includes floor plans at 1:200 scale, longitudinal section (podélný řez), north and south elevations, site plan (situace bližších vztahů) at 1:1500 scale, and a Schwarzplan showing the urban context. The balance sheet indicates areas for different programmatic functions including laboratories and administrative blocks.
