A film museum located in Prague featuring a transparent structural framework that creates a visually open and permeable building, allowing the public space to flow through the ground level while housing exhibition and cultural spaces above.
The architectural concept is a building placed on columns, creating an open public ground floor space for the city. The multifunctional building features an internal atrium integrating horizontal and vertical circulation with a steel structural framework system. The transparent character of the steel construction acts as a system of layered facades functioning as filters. The steel framework is expressed in the interior and exterior, lending the building a transparent and industrial character. The project includes exhibition halls, an atrium, and various public spaces organized across multiple floors.
The project includes site plans at 1:10000 and 1:1000 scales, floor plans at 1:200 and 1:250 (floors 1, 3, 4, and 5), elevations (south and west) at 1:200, sections (aa and bb) at 1:200, an axonometric view, and interior and street perspective visualizations. The structural system employs a steel frame construction with a modular grid.
