Project idea

A spa polyfunctional building (Lázeňský polyfunkční objekt) designed as a cardiac center in Poděbrady, combining healthcare and wellness functions within a contemporary architectural form that respects the existing urban context.

Project description

The project proposes a multifunctional spa and cardiac center in Poděbrady. The building features a modern design with a stepped massing that creates terraces and green roofs, integrating the structure into its surroundings. The ground floor contains public and communal spaces, while upper floors (2nd-4th) accommodate residential or patient rooms. The design includes a courtyard with greenery, water features for therapeutic purposes, and careful integration with the existing historical buildings in the area. The spatial solution breaks down the volume into interconnected blocks to reduce the perceived scale and create varied interior and exterior spaces.

Technical information

The building is organized across 4 floors (1 NP through 4 NP) with a western section (Řez západní A-A'). Floor plans show the ground floor layout with public areas and upper typical floors with individual rooms/apartments. Elevations include western (Pohled západní), southern (Pohled jižní), and eastern (Pohled východní) views showing the relationship between new construction and existing historical facades. The axonometric room detail shows individual unit layouts with furniture arrangements.
