A gymnasium (high school) designed for 300 students located in Jesenice near Prague, situated on the border of a contemporary suburban town. The building is placed on a panoramic plot that opens to the surrounding landscape.
The gymnasium is designed for 300 students and consists of educational spaces including classrooms, a cafeteria, a sports hall, and a gym. The central concept is based on an L-shaped floor plan with a courtyard atrium and its division into distinct functional zones. The building structurally responds to the nearby residential character of the area while maintaining an appropriate institutional scale. The spatial solution creates common spaces that serve as places for relaxation, studying, and social interaction.
The project includes floor plans at 1:300 scale (1NP, 2NP, 3NP, 1PP), sections (A-A, B-B) at 1:300, elevations (northwest, northeast, southeast) at 1:300, and a site plan at 1:500. The building features a multi-story structure with underground level containing support facilities and upper floors dedicated to educational and sports functions.
