A lookout tower situated in the Sázava River valley, designed as a vertical steel structure that provides panoramic views of the surrounding landscape and historic bridge.
The project proposes an observation tower located near Jílové u Prahy in the Středočeský kraj (Central Bohemia region) of the Czech Republic. The tower named VISTA is positioned in the valley of the Sázava River, offering views of the river, surrounding forests, and a historic viaduct/bridge. The structure features a lattice steel framework with multiple observation platforms at different heights, connected by an internal staircase. The design emphasizes transparency and lightness, allowing the tower to blend with the natural landscape while providing dramatic viewpoints.
The tower structure consists of a steel lattice framework with diagonal bracing members forming a distinctive X-pattern. The design includes floor plans at multiple levels (1NP, 14NP, 20NP). Technical documentation includes a section (Řez A-A'), axonometric view, construction details (Detail A, B, C, D) showing steel connections and joints, and structural analysis outputs from SCIA Engineer software including static model, bending moments, and deformation analysis. The elevations show northern, western, southern, and eastern views of the tower.
