A multifunctional gallery in Holešovice, Prague, transforming the area into a cultural and art hub. The project creates a space where art, culture, and community life intersect, connecting the building with water and public spaces.

Project description

The Artfabrika is a multifunctional gallery located in Holešovice, Prague. The building features a distinctive timber-clad facade with an angular structural grid pattern. The design incorporates stepped terraces leading down to a waterfront, creating public gathering spaces. The complex includes gallery spaces, exhibition areas, and supporting facilities. The architectural concept works with massing that responds to the urban context, with volumes arranged to create varied interior and exterior spaces. The wooden facade treatment gives the building a warm, natural character while providing structural expression.
