Urban design proposal for the revitalization of a central city square and surrounding urban blocks, creating a vibrant public space with green rooftops and mixed-use development.
The project proposes a comprehensive urban redesign of a circular public square and its surrounding built environment. The design features a large central green space with a monument or focal point, surrounded by new and renovated urban blocks with extensive green roof systems. The scheme introduces pedestrian-friendly public spaces, outdoor seating areas, and landscaped zones between buildings. The surrounding buildings appear to accommodate mixed-use programs including housing, commercial, and public functions, organized around courtyards and internal green spaces.
The project includes detailed floor plans showing the organization of building blocks with various functional zones color-coded to indicate different uses. Site plans show the urban layout with street networks, pedestrian paths, and green areas. Building elevations and facade studies are presented alongside aerial perspective views demonstrating the massing and green roof strategy. The design incorporates raised planting beds and terraced outdoor areas in the public square.
