Design of a special regime house (Dům zvláštního režimu) in the Smíchov district of Prague 5, based on a composition of residential blocks connected by sheltered passages, creating a protected community environment for residents.
The project proposes a residential care facility located on Pekařská street in Prague 5 - Smíchov. The building is organized as a composition of interconnected blocks that are oriented to create semi-public courtyards and sheltered walkways. The facade design uses a rhythmic pattern of windows with varied proportions, giving the building a residential character despite its institutional program. The blocks are arranged to define exterior spaces while maintaining connections to the surrounding urban fabric. The ground floor provides common spaces and services, while upper floors contain residential units.
The building consists of multiple floors as shown in the floor plans (1.NP and 2.NP), with a longitudinal section (podélný řez) revealing the internal spatial organization. The project includes north and south elevations (severní pohled, jižní pohled) showing the facade treatment. The site plan shows the building positioned at the intersection of Pekařská and Schwarzenberská streets. The axonometric diagrams illustrate the massing strategy and the modular composition of the residential units.
