Project idea

Transformation of an unattractive entrance to the spa area of the city of Poděbrady. The realization of a new spa complex creates an attractive public space, establishes new connections and creates a new landmark.

Project description

The aim was to create a multifunctional building that would connect three main processes - spa services, accommodation, and commerce. The building was designed as a space for relaxation and commerce, offering spa and rehabilitation treatments along with accommodation facilities. The ground floor contains commercial spaces, while upper floors house spa and rehabilitation rooms and hotel accommodation. The design emphasizes barrier-free accessibility throughout.

Technical information

The project includes detailed floor plans, cross-sections (Řez A-A), elevations (southwest and southeast views), an axonometric view, site plan (situace), and broader context plan (situace širších vztahů). The facade features a distinctive brick and timber screen system. The building includes a room legend documenting various functional spaces across multiple floors. Interior visualizations show hotel rooms and common dining areas.
