Project idea

Vesper is a modern residential home with a special regime located in Prague 5. The concept draws from the transformation of a block structure, where blocks are oriented towards the landscape, creating a series of intimate courtyards providing residents with quality space and privacy.

Project description

The main composition derives from the transformation of a block. The individual volumes are oriented by rotation towards the landscape and form a series of buildings with courtyard character. Individual buildings incorporate vertical communication cores that create not only necessary connections but also function within the context of the wider neighborhood. The stepped gradation of the buildings responds to the surrounding urban context and connects to the natural and built environment of the area.

Technical information

The project includes entrance floor plans, typical floor plans, 2nd floor plans, basement level, sections (ŘEZ A-A'), elevations (northern, southern, eastern views), site plan, and wider context situation plan. The building uses natural materials, textile facades and structural solutions based on Eurocode standards for a multi-story residential building.
