A sports center with accommodation located along the Sava River, integrating sports facilities with housing in a riverfront setting.

Project description

The project proposes a large-scale sports and accommodation complex situated by the Sava River. The design features multiple interconnected building volumes with distinctive brick/timber cladding arranged around courtyards, creating a campus-like environment along the waterfront. The complex includes various floor plans showing residential units on typical floors, ground floor public and sports facilities, and underground parking. The building utilizes renewable energy sources and incorporates sustainable design strategies including optimized envelope details and energy-efficient construction.

Technical information

The project includes detailed structural schemes, construction phasing diagrams, comparison of infill construction systems, detailed lightweight curtain wall envelope sections, thermal bridge analysis at building corners, energy performance certification (LCA), acoustic requirements assessment, room verification for daylighting and overheating, thermal load calculations showing EXT -12°C / INT +20°C conditions, and comprehensive building sections. Wall assembly details and connection details are provided for the envelope system.
