A multifunctional cultural center in Veltrusy that responds to the current needs of the town, creating spaces for all generations including seniors, families, and youth, integrating community functions with a public square.
The project proposes a new multifunctional cultural center located near the main square in Veltrusy. The design aims to create spaces for all generations, combining community services with cultural and social functions. The building complex is organized around courtyards and connects to the existing urban fabric, respecting the character of the locality with its pitched roofs and traditional building forms while introducing a contemporary architectural language. The design includes parking facilities, outdoor public spaces, and various interior program elements arranged across two floors.
The documentation includes floor plans of the 1st and 2nd floors at 1:150 scale, section A-A, parking floor plan at 1:250, side elevation (Pohled boční), square-facing elevation (Pohled z náměstí), a construction detail at 1:10, site plan (situace) at 1:500, and contextual urban relationship diagrams. Materials include plaster facades, white plaster, wooden cladding, polycarbonate panels, paved surfaces, and vegetation areas. The building features a combination of flat and pitched roof forms.
