The goal was to create a municipal house that would serve as a multifunctional center for the village of Psáry, combining civic amenities with community gathering spaces on the village green.
The municipal house is designed on the village square in Psáry, serving as a multifunctional community building. The building features a facade combining plaster with timber cladding elements, creating a contemporary rural character. The program includes a multifunctional hall (approximately 157.5 m²), a shop, café, offices, and other civic facilities spread across two floors. The building form references traditional rural architecture with pitched roofs while incorporating modern elements such as large glazed openings and solar panels on the roof. The entrance foyer connects to the multifunctional hall and upper floor spaces. The ornamental motif of the building uses characteristically dimensioned windows (1000x2000 mm) that define the architectural expression. The surrounding landscape design integrates the building into the existing village context.
The building consists of two interconnected volumes with pitched roofs. Floor plans are organized across two levels (1st floor and 2nd floor). Room schedule includes spaces ranging from 4.1 m² to 157.5 m² for the main hall. Sections A-A and B-B show the internal spatial organization. The facade combines rendered surfaces with dark timber cladding panels. The roof includes glass ridge. Scale of drawings: site plan 1:2000, floor plans 1:200, sections 1:200, elevations 1:200.
