Project idea

The architectural study proposes a design for the training center CEG FSv ČVUT. The building is embedded into the hillside, effectively bridging two elevation levels while respecting the geological and natural character of the site with a natural green roof, offering panoramic views into the landscape.

Project description

The university training center is located in the area of Štola Josef. The building is designed to integrate into the sloped terrain, spanning two height levels. The disposition provides accommodation capacity for 25 people, training halls, and technical basement spaces. The design concept works with the natural topography, embedding the structure into the hillside while maintaining visual connections to the surrounding landscape through extensive glazing.

Technical information

The project includes floor plans for the 1st and 2nd floors, longitudinal and transverse sections, north and east elevations. The building features a linear plan organization with training and accommodation spaces arranged along the length. The structure employs extensive glass facades on the upper level and more solid construction embedded into the terrain on the lower level.
