A bio-climatic mixed-use skyscraper at Worli, Mumbai, designed to integrate nature with high-rise urban living through sustainable and climate-responsive design strategies.
Aero-Confluence is a bio-climatic mixed-use skyscraper located in Worli, Mumbai. The project addresses the challenges of dense urban development in Mumbai by proposing a vertical mixed-use tower that incorporates bioclimatic design principles. The design features vertical green spaces, passive ventilation strategies, and a programmatic mix that includes residential, commercial, and public functions. The project includes detailed site analysis, SWOT analysis, area programming, and explores vertical design concepts with sky gardens and connected public spaces. The tower design incorporates wind and solar energy generation through AeroTerra 515 panels, achieving significant energy performance metrics. The plaza and landscape design create connectivity at ground level while the upper floors provide mixed-use spaces with panoramic views of Mumbai's coastline.
The project incorporates wind and solar generative panels (AeroTerra 515) producing approximately 5.2 kWh/m²/year. Passive design strategies include natural ventilation corridors, bioclimatic facades, and vertical greenery systems. The structural design accommodates multiple floor plan configurations with detailed plans showing refuge floors, bridge connections between tower volumes, and sky garden levels. Energy performance analysis demonstrates sustainable building operation with integrated renewable energy systems. Site planning addresses connectivity to surrounding urban context with detailed plaza and landscape designs.
