Project idea

A cascading landscape park design that integrates water features, recreational areas, and green spaces into a cohesive urban park system for the town of Milevsko.

Project description

The project proposes a comprehensive redesign of a large park area featuring a series of cascading water bodies (ponds), extensive tree planting, pathways, sports courts, playgrounds, and gathering spaces. The design works with the natural topography to create interconnected water elements flowing through the landscape. The plan includes areas for active recreation such as sports fields and playgrounds, as well as passive recreation zones with seating areas and promenades along the water edges. Circular detail vignettes show key design moments including waterfront areas, playground spaces, and fountain features.

Technical information

The masterplan shows a detailed site layout with legend indicating different surface materials, planting schemes including deciduous and coniferous trees, water management systems for the cascade of ponds, parking areas, and cross-sections showing terrain profiles. The design includes infrastructure for stormwater management through the connected pond system.
