A new village for the archipelago between Nauvo and Korppoo in Pärnäs, designed to harmonize with the natural topography and preserve the existing landscape as much as possible.
The project proposes building a new village at Pärnäs between Nauvo and Korppoo. The design is based on the area's natural topography and aims to preserve the existing landscape. The area is organized around a center where a square and key services are located, forming the functional and social core of the village. A clear route network is proposed that connects the harbor, town center, hotel, residential areas, and recreational functions. The network supports pedestrian movement and enables diverse landscape experiences. The planning is based on terrain analysis, with the goal of fitting construction into the landscape with minimal terrain modifications. The overall aim is to create a new archipelago-adapted village with its own identity, serving as an environment that combines tourism, leisure, and living.
Site plan at 1:4000 and detailed plan at 1:2000. The program includes harbor functions area, service area, hotel, residential area, block sauna, camping area, and bird tower. Existing and proposed street networks are analyzed and compared.
