The NEOM Celestial Space Center is a scientific, educational, and cultural destination located in Trojena, NEOM. The project is inspired by celestial movement, astronomical observation, and the relationship between the Earth and the cosmos. The design integrates architecture with the surrounding mountainous terrain, creating an immersive journey that guides visitors from the physical landscape into the world of space exploration. The center aims to promote scientific knowledge, public engagement, and innovation in astronomy and space sciences while supporting NEOM’s vision of becoming a global hub for research, education, and future technologies.
The project consists of three interconnected circular volumes organized around a central public space. The main building accommodates exhibition galleries, a visitor orientation center, educational facilities, research spaces, administrative offices, a café, retail areas, and support services. A dedicated planetarium provides immersive astronomical experiences and educational programs. The design incorporates outdoor observation areas, landscape integration, and underground parking facilities. The project serves students, researchers, tourists, and the general public, offering a comprehensive environment for learning, exploration, and scientific discovery.
