Inspired by the iconic LEGO bricks, the project embraces the philosophy of "Modularization and Flexible Assembly," transforming geometric functional blocks into interlocking components that easily expand along a synchronized structural grid. The architectural highlight is the artistic contrast between the rectilinear factory blocks and the unique semi-spherical administrative dome at the forefront. Coupled with the signature LEGO statue, green landscaping, and a sustainable design approach, the project establishes a powerful brand identity, turning the entire facility into a distinctive eco-industrial landmark that breaks away from the rigid monotony of traditional industrial parks.
The master plan is logically organized to optimize the closed-loop production line and logistics. The ground floor centralizes all heavy manufacturing processes, from raw material warehouses, mixing and grinding workshops, and high-pressure plastic injection molding lines, to the packaging sector and finished goods warehouses with direct access to container yards. The first floor accommodates component printing workshops, integrated R&D management offices, and product testing areas. The rectangular production blocks and the spherical administrative dome are seamlessly linked via high-level pedestrian bridges, ensuring continuous, safe, and intuitive internal circulation.
Embodying the High-tech architectural style, the building proudly showcases its mechanical structures alongside modern green building solutions. The factory utilizes a smart double-skin facade system, which adds visual depth while optimizing natural ventilation and shading against harsh solar radiation. Highlighting this industrial aesthetic, the complex network of technical pipelines (ventilation, air conditioning, and resin pellet feeding pipes) is pushed to the exterior envelope and painted in vibrant, signature LEGO colors (red and yellow). Structurally, the large-span (28–30m) cable-stayed roof system is integrated with an extensive solar panel roofing system, allowing the plant to generate its own clean energy and completing the vision of a future-proof industrial hub: powerful, innovative, and sustainable.
