Project idea

A national sports complex designed specifically to accommodate and serve differently abled people, providing inclusive sports and recreational facilities . A defined space for where impaired individuals can participate in sports to the fullest extent possible. Giving future para-athletes the necessary exposure, to become socially integrated people and opportunities for employment and work as a human resource rather than burden for the society . Establishing a sports complex while taking into account the nation's insufficiency of training facilities and sports infrastructure for the differently individuals. This project goal is to promote Inclusivity. In order to increase inclusivity among differently abled people, it requires to promote physical and mental wellness and to foster a sense of community and equal participation, promote empowerment and training facilities to help people with disabilities to become a part of the community and to prepare them for Paralympic games through shared sporting experiences and practices in this project. in addition, the objectives of this project are to build a facility specifically meant for adaptive sports in order to promote them in Bangladesh. It may act as a training ground for athletes competing in national and international adaptive sports. To construct a medium-rise sports and recreation centre without sacrificing the differently abled users' accessibility or other special needs. Furthermore ,Revenue Generation can be achieved by giving public access to the complex through the gallery and sports grounds on a defined schedule . This public integration is also created by involving them with the differently abled people, which initiates the feeling of socially connected to all people rather than isolated .

Project description

The establishment of a National Sports Complex for Differently abled people in Savar, Dhaka, Bangladesh, represents a significant step towards promoting inclusivity, accessibility, and empowerment for individuals with different abilities in the realm of sports and recreation. Throughout this project, a comprehensive plan to address the needs and challenges faced by differently abled individual athletes in the region and to provide them with a state-of-the-art facility where they can train, compete, and flourish.

Technical information

Universal design and circulation lighting ,Medical Facilities and therapeutically Spaces are the innovative consideration for this project .Sensory garden ,texture and building material differences and landscapes help the impaired individuals to roam freely and feels the confidence and independence is achieved .
