This resort in Mamallapuram is inspired by the Japanese philosophy of Wabi-Sabi, which celebrates simplicity, natural beauty, and imperfection. The design uses natural materials, earthy tones, and minimal forms to create a peaceful retreat that connects guests with nature and promotes relaxation and mindfulness.
The proposed Wabi-Sabi Resort in Mamallapuram is designed as a serene retreat that embraces simplicity, natural beauty, and imperfection. The resort incorporates natural materials, muted color palettes, open spaces, and sustainable design principles to create a calm and harmonious environment. Inspired by the coastal landscape and Wabi-Sabi philosophy, the project offers guests a unique experience that encourages relaxation, mindfulness, and a deeper connection with nature.
The resort is designed with an RCC framed structure and brick masonry walls, ensuring strength and durability. Natural materials such as stone, wood, and textured finishes are used to reflect the Wabi-Sabi concept. The building incorporates natural lighting, cross ventilation, energy-efficient systems, and sustainable features to create a comfortable and environmentally responsive resort environment.
