LABrary: eco-library project
Project idea
The concept behind the project is to create a contrast between the building’s industrial setting (the library is housed in a former rope factory, a landmark of Constructivism) and a cozy space for studying and working.
Project description
LABrary is a space that combines the functions of a laboratory for creating products in the context of sustainability and a library with a co working space for comfortable work. The library reflects an ecological approach to design and learning.
Technical information
The interior combines natural materials (wood, fabrics) with experimental ones (glass, metal, translucent wood), highlighting its dual function: an experimental workshop for master classes and a quiet space for study and work. The design incorporates a system of movable partitions to conveniently divide the space during workshops, events, and lectures.
