Project Title: Okhtein Store: The Synergy of Fluidity

Concept Statement:
This design reinterprets Okhtein’s identity by weaving the brand’s story, heritage, and core values into a contemporary luxury retail space. The concept draws primary inspiration from the human form as a profound symbol of creativity and craftsmanship, merging artisanal roots with a premium experience.

Project description

Spatial Layout & Circulation:
The natural curves and fluid lines of the human body are translated into the spatial layout and circulation paths, creating an organic sense of movement throughout the interior. On a detailed level, the display units for bags and jewelry are inspired by the anatomy of the human hand, directly celebrating the artistry and handcraftsmanship behind each product.

Brand Symbolism:
Additionally, the design integrates the brand's iconic logo, which originates from the traditional artisan nail, symbolizing precision, structural construction, and making. The foundational bond between the two sisters who established the brand is structurally reflected through strategic visual symmetry across key design elements—symbolizing balance, connection, and partnership.

Technical information

Spatial Program: Dynamic commercial ground floor for retail display and a sophisticated administrative mezzanine level.
Software Used: AutoCAD, 3ds Max, V-Ray.
Key Materials: Reflective marble flooring, contemporary organic ceiling profiles, luxury metallic and golden accents, and customized handcrafted display units.
