Project idea

Exploring architectural form for mono-functional activity — a pavilion-like café seamlessly integrated into a forest environment using lightweight bamboo structure.

Project description

Forest is a place of no boundary, where people want to be lost in the beauty of nature. A pavilion-like space can bring in free flowing spaces or character of openness. Hence, the restaurant is designed to be like a pavilion, which seamlessly integrates into a forest environment. Characterized by a lightweight bamboo structure, it harmonizes with the natural surroundings, offering an open air dining experience that celebrates sustainability and embraces the beauty of the adjacent forest, creating a tranquil space where guests can dine amid the serenity of nature.
