Project idea

A resort design inspired by organic and natural forms, located in Marsa Alam, Egypt between the Red Sea coast and desert landscape. The concept integrates architecture with the natural environment using flowing, tree-like organic forms that blend with the terrain.

Project description

Treeivia Resort is a graduation project covering a total area of 3,500 square meters located in Marsa Alam, Egypt. The design concept draws from organic geometry and natural forms, creating a resort that merges with the landscape. The project features undulating green roofs covered with vegetation, creating a seamless transition between architecture and nature. The resort includes lounges, coffee shops, clay workshops, underground spaces, and multiple floors with various recreational facilities. The building appears to grow from the ground with cave-like openings and flowing interior spaces illuminated by perforated ceiling patterns that create dramatic light effects. The plans show organic, free-flowing layouts on both the first and second floors with pools, gathering spaces, and service areas integrated into the curvilinear design.

Technical information

The project includes Plan 1F at scale 1:100, Plan 2F at scale 1:100, and a section at scale 1:25. Site analysis covers climate analysis, structural analysis, and material selection. The mood board and materials palette includes natural tones and organic textures. The structure incorporates earth-sheltered design with green roof systems and extensive glazing for natural light penetration.
