Conservation of cIVILIZATION rIGHTS
Loss of history and Civilization Has Adverse effects on Cultural Heritage. It is essentially a form of History Erasure, No different from burning books. This creates a gap in which people lost their identity, especially if they dont know if these artifacts are coming back or not.
Concept Realizing Pandora’s Box
In Ancient mythology, Pandora is The Chaos and evil unleashed by Human curioisty and Greed, Disguised as a Gift. The Musuem acts as a Cross Cut Experince, Narrating Parallel Stories of the Present and absent Parts of History. Leading with curisotiy, The user Experinces A sense of tension, connection and urgency to Put the Peices of history together and Value the Missed History of Lebanon. Rooted in the concept of raising awarness, The Experince is meant to Showcas the Adverse effect of History Theft or Trafficking as a form of History Erasure, Especially when the People dont know if it will be returned or not.
LOCATION Beirut national museum road
The site is in Beirut because the capital of Lebanon attracts the maximum number of tourists and Civilians who might not be aware of the missed artifacts.
The site facing the National Museum of Beirut to be its extension, but on the other side. The site is surrounded by diverse cultural facilities such as the National Museum of Beirut, MIM Mineral Museum, the French Embassy, and VFS Global – the agent of the British Embassy in Lebanon. The intended museum is preferably built near Western embassies and foreign bodies to ensure that the message is heard and well-received.The site is located on the main road of ‘Al-Mathaf’, so it is easily accessible. Currently, a part of the site is specified for the University of Saint-Joseph (USJ) as a parking lot, but according to the importance, the site can function for the intended national project.

The Hall focuses on displaying Ancient artfacts and Relics that are displaced or stolen through WALL SUBTRACTION MOLD, which triggers the first sense the user senses the NEGATIVE DESIGN IN THE HALL

This hall focuses on displaying middle age artfacts as GLASS CAUSCATING REPLICAS, that give the user the feeling of Visitng those actual artfacts in their correct scale. The hall design emphasis on the grand height and classic layout.

This hall focuses on an outdoor experince, where the users are encoruged to go outside in the green area and see the HOLOGRAM GLASS PILLARS, displaying various lost artfacts that resemble a huge impact on the civilization.

This hall focuses on Having close proximity to the workshop, where artists and sceintest can work live infront of vistors on retrieving lost crafts and rebuilding old sceince, like pheoncian ships, music instremunts and more.
