Project idea

The idea of this project originates from a common problem experienced by many brides during the wedding dress selection process. When attending bridal appointments and fitting sessions, brides often feel overwhelmed by the large number of dress options, decision-making pressure, and concerns about their appearance. These emotions can create stress and anxiety, reducing the enjoyment of what should be a memorable and exciting experience.

Project description

Therefore, this bridal boutique is designed using the Pleasure-Arousal-Dominance (PAD) framework to create an environment that enhances emotional comfort, positive excitement, and a sense of control. The design aims to support brides throughout their journey by providing a welcoming, calming, and empowering atmosphere that helps them make decisions with greater confidence and ease.

Technical information

This project applies the Pleasure-Arousal-Dominance (PAD) framework to reduce the feeling of being overwhelmed during wedding dress fittings. Pleasure is achieved through soft colors, warm lighting, and comfortable materials to create a calming atmosphere. Arousal is introduced through elegant dress displays, focal lighting, and Virtual Try-On technology to enhance excitement. Dominance is supported by clear circulation, organized gown displays, and private consultation and fitting areas, allowing brides to feel more confident and in control throughout the decision-making process.
