Project idea

Design of a new elementary art school (ZUŠ) building featuring a distinctive green facade with vertical ribbed cladding, creating a vibrant and contemporary educational facility for arts education.

Project description

The project proposes a new building for an elementary art school situated in an urban context. The design features a prominent green facade with vertical ribbed panels that give the building a strong identity. The ground floor is characterized by large glazed openings that provide transparency and visual connection between interior and exterior spaces. The building includes multiple floors with classrooms, studios, rehearsal spaces, and common areas organized around a central circulation core. Interior spaces feature green accent elements, including a sculptural staircase, creating a lively and inspiring environment for young artists. The site plan shows the building integrated into the existing urban fabric with surrounding green spaces and pedestrian areas.

Technical information

The building is a multi-story structure with floor plans showing organized classroom layouts, practice rooms, and administrative spaces. Construction details show the facade system with vertical green cladding panels mounted on a supporting structure with insulation layers. The sections reveal the internal organization across multiple floors with varying ceiling heights to accommodate different program requirements. The structural system appears to be a reinforced concrete frame with curtain wall glazing at ground level and the distinctive green panel cladding system on upper floors.
