The idea of this project is to create a space wherethe unemployed youths and retired oldies around Lideta ,Addis Abeba, Ethiopia , to spend their day there by being creative and still interacting with each other. This project will be built on a site with public space land use . The users are artists, authors, locals and the children on the area. The client of the project is the Lideta sub city administration.
Tis project shows the interaction between different types of arts in ones, where floors of the project are designed in a way that the programs interact with each other both horizontal and vertical corresponding to the concept synergy in art. Those programs hosted in the building can stand out alone but they all are parts of Art ,they work together in the given project creating a museum of art .
The building is constructed with steel ,concrete and glass as a material combination .The studios are designed in a way that the arts will be exhibited on the same floor to help them stay inspired. The second floor open down will help to crate visual connection between the drafting studio and painting studio.
