A multifunctional building situated near the Hradčanská metro station in Prague, designed to integrate with the urban fabric and transportation infrastructure of the area.
The project proposes a striking angular mixed-use building near the Hradčanská metro station in Prague. The design features a distinctive faceted facade with vertical fin elements that create a dynamic appearance. The building responds to its urban context at a major transportation node, incorporating commercial, office, and potentially cultural functions. The massing creates an iconic sculptural form that rises from a broader base, with the angular geometry allowing the building to address multiple street frontages and the adjacent metro infrastructure. Site analysis includes urban morphology studies, figure-ground diagrams, and transportation connectivity mapping.
The project includes detailed floor plans at multiple levels, cross-sections, and elevations showing the building's structural and spatial organization. The plans reveal underground levels connecting to the metro station, ground-level commercial spaces, and upper floors with flexible layouts. Sections demonstrate the relationship between the building and the existing metro infrastructure below grade. The facade system consists of vertical metal fins creating a rhythmic pattern across the building envelope.
