A modern family house in Roztoky designed with a concept of dividing the building into public and private zones, opening interiors towards the garden with emphasis on natural light and connection with the surrounding landscape.
The project is a two-story family house located in Roztoky. The design divides the house into a public entrance and living area on the ground floor and private bedrooms on the upper floor. The building features a modern minimalist aesthetic with white and dark facades, large glazed surfaces opening to the garden, and a flat roof composition with intersecting volumes. The ground floor contains living spaces, kitchen, dining area, and utility rooms, while the second floor accommodates bedrooms, bathrooms, and a study. The site plan shows the house positioned on the plot with parking, garden areas, and access from the street.
The structural system uses reinforced concrete foundations and walls with thermal insulation. The complex section detail shows layered wall and roof construction including waterproofing membranes, thermal insulation panels, reinforced concrete structural elements, and finishing layers. Floor compositions include concrete slabs with appropriate insulation. The construction axonometry illustrates the building system concept with reinforced concrete frame and slab construction of approximately 200mm thickness. The total usable area of the ground floor is approximately 160 m² and the second floor approximately 130 m².
