Project idea

A family house located in the Zbraslav area of Prague, designed to integrate with the sloped terrain and local context.

Project description

The project is a bachelor's thesis designing a family house in the Závist locality near Zbraslav, Prague. The house features a modern minimalist form with white rendered facades combined with decorative brick elements. The design takes advantage of the sloped site with a two-story layout, incorporating large glazed openings on the garden side to connect interior living spaces with the surrounding landscape. The ground floor features open-plan living areas with generous ceiling heights, while the upper floor contains private rooms. A covered terrace extends the living space outdoors.

Technical information

The project includes detailed site plans, floor plans at 1:100 scale, building sections, elevations from all sides, an axonometric drawing showing the spatial arrangement, and a detailed wall section showing construction layers. The brick pattern detailing is used as an architectural feature on certain facade elements. The documentation follows standard architectural conventions with proper dimensioning and annotations.
