Project idea

An administrative building with educational use conceived as an active element of public space, integrating office floors, public amenities, and urban landscape into a cohesive design in Prague.

Project description

The project proposes a multi-story administrative and educational building in Prague. The design features a sculptural, curvilinear facade with vertical fins that create a distinctive identity. The building is organized across multiple levels: underground parking and cycle hub (1.-4.PP), ground floor with a lobby, foyer, and dining (1.NP), public and cultural functions on the 2nd floor, offices combined with a terrace/community park on the 3rd floor, typical office floors on levels 4-8, and a rooftop terrace with a sky lounge on the 9th floor, topped by a 10th floor of typical office space. The massing is shaped by an organic, flowing plan that responds to the surrounding urban context, creating generous public spaces at ground level with landscaping and pedestrian areas.

Technical information

The building comprises 10 above-ground floors and 4 underground levels. Underground levels contain parking and a cycling hub as well as building services and technical rooms. Floor plans show an organic curved layout with a central core circulation system. The facade features a rhythmic vertical fin system providing solar shading. The project includes detailed floor plans at 1:400 scale, building sections (longitudinal and cross), and elevations from multiple directions. The program breakdown lists specific areas for each floor level including office areas, public functions, dining, and rooftop amenities.
