A family house design in the Podolí-Dvůrce locality, combining modern minimalist architecture with natural materials such as wood cladding and large glazed surfaces to create a connection between interior living spaces and the surrounding garden.
The project is a two-story family house situated on a plot in the Podolí-Dvůrce area. The design features a compact rectangular form with a combination of dark timber cladding and light-colored rendered surfaces. Large windows on the ground floor open the living areas to the garden, while the upper floor has more restrained fenestration for private rooms. The house includes an open-plan living and dining area on the ground floor with direct access to an outdoor terrace and garden. The upper floor contains bedrooms and private spaces. The concept responds to the urban context and solar orientation, with the massing articulated to optimize natural light and privacy.
The construction follows a conventional masonry/concrete structural system with timber cladding as the exterior finish. Floor plans show a ground floor with living, dining, and kitchen areas, and a second floor with bedrooms. Sections A-A and B-B illustrate the two-story configuration. The construction detail shows a layered wall assembly with insulation. A solar diagram analyzes sun exposure on the site. The site plan shows the building positioned within the plot with surrounding vegetation and access.
