Project idea

A family house situated in Libčice nad Vltavou, designed to integrate with the sloped terrain and surrounding landscape while providing modern living spaces with generous glazing and outdoor areas.

Project description

The project is a two-story family house located in Libčice nad Vltavou. The design features a contemporary architectural language with a gabled roof clad in vertical timber battens, large glass facades, and a green pergola with hanging vegetation. The house includes a swimming pool, outdoor terrace areas with sand play space, and takes advantage of the sloped site. The ground floor contains living areas, garage, and service spaces, while the upper floor houses bedrooms and private spaces. The materiality combines timber cladding, dark metal/render, and extensive glazing to create a modern yet contextual appearance.

Technical information

The building is organized on two levels following the terrain slope. Floor plans show a clear separation between public and private zones. The structural system supports large glazed openings on the south-facing facade. The roof profile combines a traditional gable form with contemporary materials. Wall compositions include thermal insulation layers, vapor barriers, and finishing materials as indicated in the wall section details. The legends indicate room areas for both floors.
