Project idea

A community center designed in the context of an existing cultural house, creating a public gathering space that integrates modern architecture with natural materials and landscaping.

Project description

The project proposes a community center that complements an existing cultural house. The design features a contemporary architectural language with clean geometric volumes, large glazed openings, and a distinctive wooden vertical louver facade element. The building is set within a landscaped environment with mature trees and ornamental plantings.

Technical information

When designing the building, emphasis was placed on respecting the requirements
individual professions, especially statics, fire safety and technical equipment
buildings. The design is the result of careful coordination that made it possible to create a functional one
and a logical whole without having to compromise on the quality of the architecture.
The supporting system of the object is a combined reinforced concrete system. It remains
from internal reinforced concrete skeletons and perimeter load-bearing walls, which are
supplemented with non-permeable reinforced concrete slabs. There is a building in the longitudinal direction
rationally divided into three tracts, each of which carries its own dynamics.
The chosen skeleton system frees the layout from the load-bearing walls, thereby creating
spacious and well-lit interior with a high degree of functional variability. On the second
and the third above-ground floor, this principle enables the creation of a continuous gallery,
which vertically connects the entire object. This solution promotes social interaction
and at the same time serves as an important lighting element that brings natural daylight
lighting deep into the layout. That also supports this principle with glasses
crossbars.
