The idea of this project originates from the growing need for communal spaces within residential environments that support not only physical activities but also mental and social well-being. As modern urban lifestyles often contribute to stress, social isolation, and reduced interaction among neighbors, a clubhouse can serve as a restorative environment that encourages healthy living and community engagement.
Located in Puri Galaxy Residential Area, Surabaya, this project proposes the design of a wellness-oriented clubhouse that integrates the principles of Healing Environment. Through the use of natural materials, biophilic design elements, natural lighting, calming color palettes, and spatial arrangements that promote comfort and social interaction, the clubhouse aims to provide residents with a place to exercise, relax, socialize, and recover from daily stress while enhancing their overall quality of life.
This project consists of the interior design development of a wellness clubhouse serving the residents of Puri Galaxy Residential Area, Surabaya. The clubhouse is designed as a multifunctional communal facility that accommodates both wellness and social activities.
