A high-tech style interior design for a two-story cottage in the suburbs of Kyiv, designed for a family of four with two cats. The main idea was to create a versatile space for a family with different hobbies and lifestyles. To combine style with comfort.

Project description

The project is an interior design for a two-story cottage located in the suburbs of Kyiv. The design style is high-tech with a budget of $790,000 USD. The residents include a husband (a judge), wife (a photographer), son (16 years old, a musician), daughter (11 years old, a swimmer), and two cats. The design features a modern living and dining area with a linear fireplace, large glass windows, and a color palette dominated by navy blue, grey, and white tones. The ground and first floor furniture plans show a well-organized layout with bedrooms, bathrooms, living spaces, and a kitchen. Interior renders showcase the bedroom with LED-lit bed frame, children's room, home office, and open-plan living areas with contemporary furnishings and bold blue accent elements.
The project embodies the aesthetics of the modern high-tech style, with careful attention to the individual needs of clients. Custom built-in furniture and storage systems have been designed to maximize the use of space. The interior design is based on the use of minimalist, premium-class furniture solutions.

Technical information

Two-story cottage with ground floor and first floor f. The ground floor includes living and dining area, kitchen, and utility spaces. The first floor contains bedrooms and bathrooms. Design style: high-tech. Pantone color references are shown on the mood board indicating navy blue and neutral tones. The visual character of the space is built on the principles of clean geometry, functional simplicity, and the seamless integration of modern technologies. To isolate areas where noise might occur—such as my son’s room with his drums—soundproofing has been installed in that room and the adjacent one, ensuring a comfortable living environment. A space has been created for comfortable living.
