Project Design Statement: "Home as an Architectural Foundation for Psychological Security"
Context and Idea:
This project is designed for a family that has experienced displacement and the loss of their previous home. The primary objective is to create a space that is not merely a functional shell, but an architectural tool for restoring a sense of stability, security, and inner peace.
Key Goals and Objectives:
1. Psychological Stabilization through Design: Utilizing principles of modern neoclassicism (symmetry, rhythm, clear lines) to create a visually ordered environment that reduces anxiety levels.
2. Functional Autonomy: Designing the house as a system that ensures independence (technical unit for energy efficiency) and clear domestic scenarios for every family member.
3. Sensory Comfort: Implementing a palette of soothing natural tones (linen, sage, sand) and tactilely pleasant materials that foster a sense of security and belonging.
Conclusion:
The project aims to transform the house into a therapeutic space where aesthetic decisions directly contribute to enhancing the quality of life and the emotional well-being of the clients.
