Project idea

Inspired by the Montessori philosophy, the design encourages children to learn through self-discovery, hands-on experiences, and interactive environments that stimulate curiosity, creativity, and independence.

Project description

The project is a Child Development and Learning Center located in Maadi, Cairo. It is based on the Montessori approach, where children learn through self-exploration, hands-on activities, and interactive experiences that encourage creativity, independence, and critical thinking. The design incorporates circular and organic forms in the floor plans to create dynamic, child-friendly spaces. The program includes a theater, playground area, library, reception, ice cream shop, coffee shop bar, and a space exhibition area. The concept draws from fantasy exploration, using playful geometries and vibrant colors to stimulate children's imagination. The center features multiple zones organized through a bubble diagram and matrix relationship, with ground floor and first floor plans at 1:100 scale. 3D perspectives showcase colorful, whimsical interiors with curved forms, lush greenery, and themed spaces.
