Project idea

This project reimagines the conventional industrial facility as an open, educational, and environmentally responsible destination. The proposal challenges the traditional separation between industry and the public by creating an architecture that allows visitors to experience the production process firsthand while maintaining operational efficiency and safety. The proposal uses adaptive reuse strategies to reach its achievement

Project description

The design is driven by the concept of transparency, transforming manufacturing into an accessible and engaging journey. A dedicated public circulation route penetrates the production environment, enabling visitors to observe the transformation of industrial by-products into sustainable construction materials. Through a sequence of elevated bridges, viewing platforms, and exhibition spaces, the project fosters awareness of sustainable manufacturing practices and the environmental benefits of geopolymer production.

Technical information

The buildings are of steel skeletons, the red bridge is suspended from the truss in the production core, and held by beams at the HQ core
