A waterfront building complex situated on a river, featuring timber-clad facades and elevated structures over water.

Project description

The project is a waterfront structure distinguished by striking vertical wooden slats and a distinctive canopy design. Elevated above the water on supports, the building sits on a pier where a passenger vessel can dock. Open terraces are integrated into the architectural design, and the facility is conceived as a public space on the water.

Technical information

The building itself features a reinforced timber frame resting on a reinforced concrete foundation. Larch cladding boards serve as the primary material for the exterior walls, making the structure ideally suited for high-humidity environments. The facade is accented with vertical slats spaced at regular intervals across the building's surface.
