Project idea

Integrating residential living into the existing urban fabric of Florentin, Tel Aviv around a shared internal courtyard, creating a space for gathering, interaction, and creativity.

Project description

The project is located within an urban block in Florentin, Tel Aviv, Israel, a young and dynamic neighborhood characterized by mixed uses, street art, and active workshops. The design integrates residential living into the existing urban fabric around a shared internal courtyard, creating a space for gathering, interaction, and creativity. The ground floor includes a ceramics and sculpture workshop alongside a ceramicware store, while the colorful, dynamic façade reflects the lively and changing character of the neighborhood. The program includes shared courtyard passage, ceramics sculpture workshop, ceramics sculpture supplies, store, residential units, fitness room, and shared roof terrace.

Technical information

The project includes west elevation at 1:100 scale, first floor plan at 1:100, ground floor plan at 1:100, Section B-B and Section A-A. The building reaches approximately +23.43m in height with multiple residential floors above ground-level commercial and workshop spaces. Floor levels are marked at +0.00, +3.94, +7.00, +10.06, +13.12, +16.18, +19.24, and +23.43.
