Design of a family house (semi-detached dwelling) situated in a suburban context, exploring massing development and contextual integration.
The project presents a family house design developed through a mass study (Vývoj hmoty) that evolves from simple rectangular volumes into a final articulated form with pitched roofs. The design includes a semi-detached house configuration with two units sharing a party wall. The ground floor (1.NP) contains living spaces, kitchen, and garage, while the upper floor (2.NP) accommodates bedrooms and private areas. The roof plan shows a combination of pitched roof forms with skylights and solar panels. The facades feature a contemporary material palette combining dark cladding, wood elements, and rendered surfaces. The architectural situation plan shows the building positioned within its plot with consideration for the surrounding urban context near Banská Bystrica.
The building is a two-story semi-detached family house with pitched roofs. Floor plans show ground floor and second floor layouts with clearly defined functional zones. Cross-section (Priečny rez B-B') and longitudinal section (Pozdĺžny rez A-A') reveal the interior spatial organization and roof geometry. The roof incorporates solar panels and skylights for natural lighting. The street elevation (Pohľad z ulice) shows the facade composition with garage entries, windows, and material articulation.
