Project idea

Nové komunitní centrum přináší do Veltrus oživení a prostor pro mezigenerační dialog. Návrh tvoří soubor drobnějších staveb, které svým měřítkem a tvaroslovím respektují kontext stávající zástavby obce. Areál s vnitřním polouzavřeným dvorem v sobě ukrývá multifunkční společenský sál, prostory pro dětskou skupinu, denní stacionář pro seniory a zázemí s kancelářemi. Projekt tak obci nabízí ucelené a architektonicky kultivované řešení, které se stane přirozeným ohniskem společenského dění.

The new community center brings revitalization and a space for intergenerational dialogue to the town of Veltrusy. The design consists of a cluster of smaller-scale buildings whose massing and form respect the existing urban fabric. Centered around a semi-enclosed inner courtyard, the complex accommodates a multifunctional cultural hall, facilities for a children's group, a senior day care center, and office spaces. The project provides the municipality with a cohesive and architecturally refined solution that will serve as a natural hub for community life.

Project description

Konceptem návrhu je rozdělení programu do dvou hmotově příbuzných objektů, které jsou vůči sobě uskočené a orientované štíty v severojižní ose. Tento prostorový posun cíleně definuje charakter venkovních ploch. Směrem od náměstí se otevírá velkorysý veřejný prostor před objektem společenského sálu. V hloubi parcely pak uskočení hmot vytváří klidný, polouzavřený dvůr, který nabízí chráněné prostředí pro pobyt dětí a seniorů situovaných ve druhém objektu s podkrovními kancelářemi.

The design concept distributes the program into two volumes of similar massing. These structures are staggered, with their gable ends oriented along the north-south axis. This deliberate spatial shift defines the character of the outdoor areas. Facing the town square, a generous public plaza opens up in front of the cultural hall. Deeper within the site, the staggered layout creates a quiet, semi-enclosed courtyard, providing a sheltered environment for the children and seniors housed in the second building, which also features attic offices.

Technical information

Projekt obsahuje půdorysy 1. a 2. nadzemního podlaží, východozápadní a severojižní řezy objekty, situaci a stavební detail zobrazující skrytý okapový systém. Objekty se vyznačují šikmými střechami, které jsou v souladu s místním architektonickým charakterem.

The project includes floor plans for the 1st and 2nd floors, east-west and north-south building sections, a site plan, and a construction detail showing the hidden gutter system. The buildings feature pitched roofs that are consistent with the local architectural character.
