Project idea

The main idea of this project is to design a modern family house that fits naturally into the sloping landscape of the site. The house is designed to make the best use of the terrain and to provide beautiful views of the surrounding countryside. The orientation of the building allows enough natural daylight during the day while also creating a comfortable and private outdoor space. The project focuses on simple architectural forms, functional design and a strong connection between the interior and the exterior. Large windows connect the living spaces with the garden and terrace, creating a pleasant environment for everyday family life.

Project description

The project is a single-family house for a family of four. The house has one main floor, while the garage is placed on the lower level because of the sloping terrain. The living room, dining room and kitchen are connected into one open space with direct access to the terrace and garden. The private rooms are separated from the living area to provide more comfort and privacy. Large windows bring natural light into the house and connect the interior with the outdoor space.

Technical information

The house is built with ceramic blocks and insulated with 200 mm EPS insulation. It has a gable roof with thermal insulation and waterproofing. Underfloor heating provides thermal comfort, while large energy-efficient windows bring plenty of natural light into the interior. The use of quality materials and simple construction creates a comfortable and energy-efficient home for everyday family living.
