A detached family house situated on a sloped plot in Nová Baňa with panoramic views of the surrounding landscape. The slope significantly influences the architectural solution, bringing uniqueness to the design.
The designed object is a standalone family house situated in Nová Baňa. The plot offers panoramic views of the surrounding landscape. The slope significantly influences the architectural solution, bringing uniqueness. The layout respects the daily routine of residents and naturally separates social and private zones. The building mass adapts to the terrain using simple geometric forms and combines traditional and modern materials. The ground floor forms an open social space with a large terrace complemented by a workspace above with an exposed roof structure containing a loft with a pleasant seating area and library. The basement contains living rooms, sanitary facilities, technical facilities, and a private terrace with a hot tub for cooling in summer and warming in winter. The architecture works with contrasts of white plaster, steel, wood, and exposed concrete. The overall solution emphasizes integration into the surrounding landscape and quality living space.
The building has two levels: ground floor (prízemie) and basement (suterén). The design adapts to the terrain with two approaches shown - terrain leveling and terrain adaptation. The study program is B-PSA / II, Ateliérová tvorba 1, academic year 2025/2026.
