Project idea

This practical bachelor thesis, developed at the New Design University, responds to the growing sense of distance within today’s working world. A phenomenon that has been further reinforced by digitalization. The aim is to create an analog space where human connections, creative collaboration and authentic exchange take center stage.

Project description

Re:connect is aimed at companies, start-ups, and organizations that are seeking new forms of collaboration and wish to put people back at the heart of their work. The concept strengthens community through shared experiences, supports productive processes, and establishes a counterbalance to the digital working environment."

Technical information

The project takes place within an existing building whose structure was largely preserved and protected. New coherent constructions in wood and steel ensure stability while maintaining the character of the original space. Textiles and colored surfaces add warmth and a distinctive atmosphere rarely found in conventional offices.
